Business Presentation Competition 14th December Pupils prepared very interesting presentations. The presentation competition gave pupils the opportunity to work alongside our student ambassadors and improve their presentation, communication and team-working skills.
They all thoroughly enjoyed the day and felt that the student ambassadors were particularly helpful in giving them help on how to polish their presentations.
Pupils were advised to research their topic and prepare some material prior to coming to the University and they also had the whole morning to work alongside our student ambassadors to finish their preparation and practice the presenting.

The students involved were Year 12 A Level Business students, who eagerly volunteered to take part. They covered topics such as: By having an opportunity to present, pupils gained confidence in public speaking, linked with our students, learned to work under pressure and to a deadline, developed their research skills and enhanced their analytical thinking.
